Manger

In verses 15-20 of Luke chapter 2, the shepherds hurry to the manger—an ordinary feeding trough that holds the Savior of the world. Just as animals go to a manger for sustenance, we are called to go to Jesus for true nourishment. This sermon invites us to examine our spiritual diet and reminds us that Christ alone sustains, satisfies, and strengthens our lives. If Jesus is enough, why do we keep feeding on lesser things?
