The Christian Life

We are in verses 16–25 of Matthew 10. There is no way to come away from these verses without confronting the reality that the Christian life is hard. In this sermon, Pastor Neal connects this to the Sermon on the Mount, where Jesus teaches that the way that leads to life is hard. If you never find yourself in seasons or moments where your Christian life feels hard, it’s probably because you’re not living one. The Christian life is filled with joy and peace — but it is also filled with trial, and these exist simultaneously.

Even when it’s hard, don’t beat yourself up. Get back up. Endure to the end.
