After the disciples of John the Baptist return to their teacher, Jesus addresses the crowds to clarify the true nature of John. He is the one who paves the way for heaven to invade earth through Jesus Christ. The kingdom of heaven comes forcefully and with violent resistance, but vindication comes through Christ alone, the only approval we truly need.
